A hybrid class is a combination of two existing classes, often with some original abilities as well. It can range in concept from a pure replacement for a multiclass character to a class in its own right that only burrows elements from other classes.

Hybrid Archetype

A hybrid archetype is similar to a hybrid class in that it combines the abilities of two classes, but it has much more of one of these classes than the other and functions like an archetype of this class.
