Ability Scores
Characters are made using point buy, with 27 points to spend. At the end of the normal ability point allocation, you get an extra +1 to any ability score of your choice. At the end of the process no ability score can be below 9 or above 17.
Bonus Cantrips
If you have Druidcraft, Prestidigitation, or Thaumaturgy] on your spell list, you can use these cantrips without having to select them. If you are an Artificer, the same applies to Mending. If you are a Warlock, the same applies to Eldritch Blast.
You can never exchange these cantrips for other cantrips.
