Construction Costs (Optional) In general, costs are ignored for conveyances. But if additional detail is wanted, you can use these rules. Conveyances are mostly built of wood new, which can be harvested from trees or bought at 1 cp per pound. These are fresh timbers, and will rot within a year or two, which is a non-issue for conveyances. Seasoned timbers are required for more permanent vehicles and cost five times as much.

Modifications have a cost each depending on their complexity. Simple modifications cost 10 gp each. Intermediary modifications cost 100 gp each. Advanced modifications cost 1,000 gp each. Exceptional modifications cost 10,000 gp each. Modifications are reusable, once bought you can use that modification again and again on different conveyances.
