Heroic Action Role-Play |
Ambush
Trigger Action (Focus)
When you see hostiles but they cannot see you, you can focus.
Brachiation
Inherent
You can move trough the air as long as there are branches, vines, ropes, curtains, or other accessible handholds for you to use. This is usually the case in dense forests, but occurs in other places as well, such as in construction sites, slaughterhouses, and quaint urban neighborhoods.
Caped Crusader
Stance
Strike a pose while wearing a great billowing cloak. For the rest of the round you can glide using this cape, flying but only horizontally or downwards.
Escape Artist
Basic Action
You have the marvelous ability to contort your limbs and dislocate your bones in order to make efficient Contortions stunts. You use Maneuver instead of Reflexes for such stunts.
Fade
Trigger Action (Combo)
You automatically an unobtrusively position yourself so as not to be noticed. When you end a Basic Action in concealment, you can make use this schtick to make a Sneak stunt. You are also always sneaking in noncombat situations as long as it is in any way credible. You still need normal cover to sneak, this just changes the action required to hide.
Follow Through
Inherent
When you make a successful Maneuver stunt, you can add three to the Outcome of the action, increasing the chance to score a Setback.
Parkour
Inherent
You can make Confident Rolls when Free Running.
Power Hitch
Trigger Action
When a creature within Move meters of you uses a power to move (such as Abundant Leap, Flu, or Teleport, you can make an opposed Maneuver hitch a ride; moving along with the target and arriving at a spot of your choice within Teleport meters of that target.
Precarious Position
Trigger Action (Focus)
When you are within 10 meters on an opponent horizontally and least 5 meters above all opponents vertically and not flying, you can focus.
Scout
Inherent
You can Sneak at normal speed under cover and not become visible. If you move at half speed, even the slightest amount of cover (mud, shadows, tall grass) offers you concealment.
Substitution Trick
Basic Action
Use this when you are caught in an uncomfortable position, but not completely helpless. Examples include being bound, paralyzed, turned to stone, in a precarious position, burning or otherwise taking ongoing damage. The condition or position must be fairly recent, you cannot do this to cure aliments from previous scenes.
Make a Maneuver check against the best Spot among your enemies, on a success you escape the position and if you can get under cover with a normal Move, you also successfully Sneak. You leave behind a piece of clothing (such as a hat or jacket) tied around a physical object as a distraction when you do this, substituting the object for yourself.
Tunnel Rat
Inherent
You are at home in caves, ventilation ducts, and other tight places. You can keep track of direction and distance and move without hesitation. Other people in such situations lose the movement that is part of a normal Basic Action and can only move their normal Move if they dedicate a whole basic action to it.
