The fencing ranger specializes in light armor and an a ctive style of melee defense. This is a martial arts style of the Way of the Mind.
Skills
Add Acrobatics (Dex) to the fencing ranger's class skills:
Class Features
The fencing ranger has all the standard ranger class features, except as noted below.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Fencing rangers are proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with shields (except tower shields). Theya re not proficient with any armor.
Canny Defense (Ex)
When wearing no armor and not using a large or tower shield, a fencing ranger adds his Intelligence bonus as a dodge bonus to CMD and Armor Class while wielding a melee weapon. If a fencing ranger is caught unarmed or is flat-footed or otherwise denied her Dexterity bonus, she also loses this bonus. A fencing ranger with the Improved Unarmed Combat feat is never considered unarmed.
