Lightning Reload
Many action movie heroes appear to be able to fire their guns constantly without ever seeming to reload or keep track of rounds fired. Actually, they're reloading so fast that you can't see them, having bought the Lightning Reload schtick. More schtick picks gives even faster reload time.
No matter how fast you reload, you cannot shoot more than the entire clip each shot. But if the clip size is less than your number of schticks in Lightning Reload, you can fire one extra shot each action for each schtick in Lightning Reload, assuming you have schticks enough for zero reload time. This is important for schticks like Spray Fire, Ten Thousand Bullets or Rapid Fire and determines how many targets you can attack at once as a multi-target action. Example: A bow normally has only one arrow, but a reload time of zero. You can shoot one target with each action. With two schticks of Lightning Reload, you can shoot up to three targets with each attack, OR you can use the special schticks. You also get unlimited arrows, of course. Example II: An old break-open rifle has a reload time of five shots and only a single bullet. With One schtick of Lightning Reload, you get a reload time of three shots. With two schticks, you get unlimited ammo and a reload time of one shot. With three schticks, you get a reload time of zero, can shoot up to four targets with each action or use the special schticks. Quite impressive.
