Free is how much you can carry without feeling encumbered at all.
Load is the maximum loaded weight, if carried in backpacks and so on.
Lift is the maximum weight you can get of the ground, for example to remove it from someone pinned beneath. Martial Arts, or other relevant skills, can be used to lift heavier weights; every five points of Action Result increases your effective Strength by one.
