Basically, Body relates to physical mass. A more massive person, object or creature has greater Body. But some 75 kg people are tougher than others, and a 5 kg rock is not as tough as 5 kg of steel plating, so values will have to be adjusted accordingly.

Animal Body

Animals are generally at their peak. Most humans are well below peak performance, so a Body two points lower than that indicated for weight is reasonable, more for overweight persons. The length values are in meters, very approximate, and for four-legged animals, from snout to the base of the tail. A human-shaped beast is about twice as long.

Objects

Objects are often incredibly tough, seemingly invulnerable. But remember, objects have a Dodge of zero.

Benchmarks for the Toughness added because an object is Tough is found on this table:

Wood  +2
Solid steel  +6
Stone  +4
Sheet metal (car, airplane)  +0

For very large objects, take the weight in tons instead of kg, add +15 Body, and multiply length by 10.
