ThunkSpinning Vampire HandChi X Shots 3 This technique was developed by a vicious Lotus renegade who spent his life studying the tainted chi that flows in various undead creatures. Perform a barehanded attack. You don't get to do normal damage, but you inflict X (the amount of Chi you elect to spend) wound points that bypass your opponent's Toughness. Subtract X from your current wound total as you drain their life energy to feen your own. This power doesn't work against non-living targets. These are rather magically oriented. I'll try to do something more mundane with the third one. If there's a Path of the Unclean Chi somewhere (hopping stance, anyone?), I believe this one would be near the last slot. Lethal Zodiac SmashChi 8 Shots 5 Strike a tranimal opponent with an unarmed attack. In adition to normal damage, the opponent gains the same number of Reversion points and must check for Reversion right away. You can only use that power on the same opponent once a session. Prerequisite : The Storm Reverses (Path of the Storm Turtle) This awesome power is the work of an unknown Master of the White Principle. For years, this dedicated monk tried to find a way to cause evil animals in human guise to revert to their vile form. His long training and meditiation sessions had led him nowhere, until he began to study forgotten taoist texts and other forbidden secrets that good neo-confucian monks are not meant to know. In the end, the master created a form that would infuse a transformed beast's body with magically charged chi, possibly leading them to reversion. When he was shown that powerful maneuver, the Perfect Master was suitably impressed. He nonetheless ordered that its inventor be executed for using sorcery. Quan Lo is now the only person alive to know the secret of the Lethal Zodiac Smash. Some day, when the time will have come to get rid of the animals, he might decide to pass it on... Imperial Monk StanceChi 3 Shots 1 As a defensive action, assume a pose of confidence and energy. Your opponent is intimidated by your display of grandeur and quite possibly misses you. Add your Charisma attribute to your Dodge Value against this attack only. The students of the Imperial Monk school learn to use their strength of will as a weapon. Their masters are rumored to be capable of defeating any opponent with one look. |
