Telescopic Limbs

You can extend your limbs, and even your body, by partitioning yourself into physically unconnected slices or parts. These are connected by low-end arcanowaves, and continue to function and bear weight as if they were still physically connected.

Besides the gross-out effect, this allows you to extend your limbs up to your Magic meters to reach some object. While thus extended, you have a hard time coordinating your physical actions, but you also become segmented and disorienting, so that anyone trying to attack you is penalized. All actions you take, and all actions someone else takes against you, have a maximum Action Value equal to the Willpower of whoever is acting. Defensive values are not affected.

This is a rare effect, but it is used as a kind of "life insurance" among arcanowave technicians who merely wish to observe.
