Helix Rethreader

This is the schtick by the same name from Feng Shui, p 144.

This large rifle emits a beam of arcanowave energy which temporarily scrambles the portion of the victim's DNA that allows for the normal flow of chi energy. A character hit by it is affected for a number of sequences equal to the Outcome of the attack. While affected, the victim takes 5 Wound Points for each Magic or Fortune point spent and one Wound Point for each Fu point he spends to activate fu powers (including animal and race schticks). These Wound Points are not reduced by Toughness or Armor. For every 5 Wound Points of Helix Rethreader damage a character suffers, he also suffers 1 point of Impairment until the end of the fight.

Concealment rating: 5 (Trench coat). It cannot be used with the Guns skill and Gun Schticks.
