Flaps normally allow a plane to safely decelerate two points. Dive bombers often want to decelerate much more than this. This is where the Howling Flaps come in.

Originally designed independently in Germany and Lakota, the Howling Flaps now offered by Red Fox Industries combine the best specs of both designs. Not only do they help to make stalling and dive-bombing safer, they also produce a frightening "howling" sound so famous from the raids of Lakota aircraft, paralyzing opponents and ground batteries with fear.

Game effect

Deceleration has the same cost as acceleration. Normal planes get a deceleration of 2 for free. You can purchase a deceleration of 1 or 3, paying or saving the difference.

Any morale effects from the "howling" is left to the players.
