These graceful iron eagles soar the steel skies over the Ruhr and the Industrial States of America. The Me 464 Adler (Eagle) is designed as a high altitude "Zerstörer" (destroyer) aircraft. Its powerful armament and armored airframe makes it a dangerous opponent for any aircraft. Many Empire State and pirate aircraft have been shot down as the eagles swoop down from above. The Me 464 is a tailless winged body aircraft. The powerful Daimler-Benz DB 603 liguid-cooled 12 cylinder engine (1745 Hp) drives the twin counter-rotating propellers. The large wing area gives excellent lift and a very high operational ceiling. The "flying wing" body and twin counter-rotating propellers give this aircraft excellent stability. While not very agile, the Eagle is a beautiful and graceful aircraft. As benefits a Zerstörer, the Me 464 carries powerful armament. The nose weapon configuration is very accurate, and a diving eagle is capable of downing most aircraft with one swoop. Four double-attachment pylons can take 500 kg (1000 lb.) of external load. Rockets are commonly used against bomber formations and zeppelins. The current production variant is the ME464 D which features added armor and ejection seats. Both features are very popular with the pilots. Designed by Dr Alexander Lippisch in 1935 the Me 464 entered production in late 1936. It is manufactured by Messerschmidt at their Augsburg plant and by General Motors in Detroit. Variants

I really like the Coyote model, which does not look like its description. While inspired by various Messerschmidt and Horton designs, the Me 464 is a fictional aircraft designed to take advantage of the Coyote model. See modeling below.
The design is definitely 1940s, but Hughes Aviation make equally advanced designs. I see no reason why German engineering can't push the technological envelope as well!
Take a Coyote model. Remove the side rudders at the wingtips. Round of the wingtips a little. Take one rudder, cut off the bottom third and pin it under the body near the propeller. Use twin propeller discs.
Stukas can be made from Kestrels if you want more German planes. You wont get the bent wings, though.
I imagine that the Steel Skies militia and other ISA units use dark gray camo. Since sky is presumably dark over much of the ISA, it makes sense to paint the belly of the aircraft gray instead of sky blue.
