Background

Born in 1503 as the bastard daughter of queen Eluvie Cariele and Gandevan Haensen, the high hierophant of the Life and Protection of Avanale. She is a strong and headstrong lass with a shock of golden-yellow tresses, the obvious favor of her anuirean bloodline.

Having rebelled against the demands on a young lady of her position, she has turned into a warrior and something of a bully, something which bothers her relatives and causes her siblings no end of trouble. Because of this, she was made into the squire of Kalilah bint Daouta the paladin, and they have been adventuring together for several years; this has built up Katriana's confidence and self-esteem to the point where she rarely bullies anyone anymore.
