Cerillia

The Land of Lost Gods

Some great calamity must have claimed Cerillia in the past, for the Bakara here is very weak. Magic as we know it is almost impossible. The land is divided into four nations, with large stretches of wilderness in between, but one must admire and pity the cerillians, who mange to survive under such harsh conditions.

Rujik

A barbarian nation far to the west. Inhabited by men as pale and ruddy as a baboon's ass. Rujik is a strong naval power, whit ships ranging all over Cerillia. Traders from Rujik are common in the ports of the Free Cities, selling slaves, furs, amber and horn in exchange for silver, wine, cloth and works of art.

Ainuire

A heretic, barbarian nation far to the west. Anuireans are powerful warriors but indifferent magicians. Like their cousins in Thyatis, they were once under the sway of Alphatia, and conquered much of Cerillia for the alphatians. When Alphatia collapsed, the Anuireans fell into decay, but they clung to their land and had to be expelled bit by bit. Many armies from Zakhara sailed to help our brethren, the Khinasi, against the Anuireans terror. Today, the Anuireans fight mostly among themselves.

Their religion is a sad product of Alphatian philosophy. They believe in Bakara, but claim that it is to holy for common people to use. Only clergy and royalty may use Bakara, and they build huge edifices of stone, castles and cathedrals, to steal and store the Bakara of the land. In such a manner, their lords acquire great power, but impoverish the land.

Vosgaard

A barbaric region to the north, filled with ork and human tribes who constantly fight each other. This is where many of the rujikiri's slaves come from. The only other export is mercenary barbarians, both in regiments or as individuals they flock to any rumor of conflict, anywhere in the world. Jennikki was born here, then captured and sold as a slave.

Khinasi

A civilized land among the barbarians, the Khinasi are our kin ad brothers in faith. They try to maintain civilized kingdoms, but barbarian harassment and the log distance to Golden Huzuz means that they often fail, and sometimes seem as barbaric as their neighbors. They speak midani, but pronounce it in funny ways, substituting "el" for "al" and generally drawling.

The Khinasi are great traders, and exports are many and varied from region to region.
