Demonologist

The demonologist is a fell wizard, usually of western origin. These corrupt practitioners of the magic arts believe in the power of magic and fate, but not in her personal or ethical nature. Nothing magical needs to be justified. This has led them to cooperate with dangerous entities from the underworld, twisted demons totally unlike the civilized genies of Zakhara.

Limitations

Demonologists need wards and sigils to protect them against their nefarious servants and they need them at all times. No demonologist would dream of working magic unless properly attired, but they also need these wards in their daily lives, or their Fortune is considered to be zero.

Necromancer

Necromancy is an older tradition of dark magics, based in Akota. It deals in death and the secrets of the dead. Few necromancers live today, but some continue to exist as undead. Their mystic writings sometimes see the light of day, often with disastrous effects on those who read them.
