Background

Former adventuring companion to the Grand Caliph. She is a native of Khadar, the child of slaves. She ran away as a youth, taking her master's horse. She got lucky and met Khalil on his adventures, accompanying him without at first knowing his identity. When Khalil 'retired' to Huzuz, Thuriya became part of his harim. She now enjoys the luxury there as much as she once enjoyed riding.

Relatively homely but tough.
