Background

Mumrabbi the Thief. A famous but respectable thief in Huzuz, Mumrabbi is an expert at lockpicking, safecracking and disarming traps. But he is totally inept at sneaking, and covardly to boot. This has led him to specialise in opening safe compartments, rooms and chests under the supervisor of the owners or a qadi, working for the police, inheritors, those who have lost their keys and others with a legitimate right to the locked-away riches. He can be fooled by false papers and lies, but has escaped the law several times because qadis realized he was a buffoon.
