Background

This mysterious individual rules the beggars of Muluk with an iron hand. He holds court once a week (on the same day the Mulk of Muluk does) and gathers information, which he then sells to the highest, second highest and all other bidders.

He is very respected amongst the poorer people of Muluk. They know him to be unreliable and a liar, but to help the really needy with rulership, money and advice.

It was he who told Anwar of his inheritance, offered him the inherited items and gave him an ambition.
