Background

Motoshi was mate on a ship sent from Wa to explore trading oppurtunities in western waters. He casued the crew to rebel, and turned pirate outside Ayfal. He still roams these waters.

Maline is a midani form of his real name, Motoshi.

He found out that his old shipmate Toma al-Sidayo was still alive, and tried to trick him with fake ghosts during Abboleth, but was foiled.
