The nimbused oracle is surrounded by a soft glow or shimmer associated with the divine. This divine touch can reach out to create minor changes in reality.

Class Information

This is a oracle archetype that gains an additional mystery and can work subtle changes to reality nearby.

Hit Die: d6.

Starting Wealth: 2d6 × 10 gp (average 70 gp.) In addition, each character begins play with an outfit worth 10 gp or less.

Class Features

The nimbused oracle has all oracle class features, except as noted.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

Nimbused oracles are proficient with all simple weapons but not with any armor or shields.

Base Attack Bonus

The nimbused oracle has a base attack bonus of +1 per 2 levels, like a sorcerer.

Aura (Ex)

A nimbused oracle of chaotic, evil, good, or lawful alignment has a particularly powerful aura corresponding to that alignment, as if she was a cleric of a deity of that alignment (see detect evil for details).

Double Mysteries

The nimbused oracle begins play with two mysteries, and gains class skills and bonus spells from both her mysteries.

Mage Armor

Add mage armor to the nibused oracle's spell list as a first level spell. Mage armor affecting a nimbused oracle softly shimmers and shifts, giving clues to the oracle's feelings and intentions. Reduce the difficulty of Sense Motive checks against a nimbused oracle using mage armor by 4.

Nimbus (Su)

As a standard action, a nimbused oracle can aid her allies or hinder her enemies, affecting a single creature within 30 ft. A use of this ability last just over one round, until the end of the nimbused oracle's next turn. There is no saving throw. A nimbused oracle can choose a nimbus from the below list at level 1, and gains the use of an additional nimbus at level 4 and every 8 levels thereafter.

Nimbus of Competence (Su) The nimbused oracle shares some of her skill with an ally. Pick one skill. The ally gains a +2 bonus on checks with that skill. This bonus increases by one for every 5 ranks the nimbused oracle has in that skill. This bonus can never be higher than 1/3 the nimbused oracle's skill check modifier in the selected skill.

Nimbus of Vulnerability (Su) The nimbused oracle makes an enemy vulnerable to attack. The enemy takes a -2 penalty to AC.

Nimbus of Woe (Su) The nimbused oracle makes an enemy susceptible; the target suffers a -2 penalty on all saving throws.

Nimbus of Wrath (Su) The nimbused oracle creates a nimbus of wrath ready to strike an enemy. The first time the enemy takes damage while nimbus of wrath lasts, increase the damage by the the nimbused oracle's class level. This discharges the effect. Additional damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.

Reaching Nimbus (Su) The nimbused oracle gains spiritual reach. She can use spells with a range of touch as if she had a natural reach of 30 ft. She can add her Charisma bonus instead of her Strength bonus to an attack roll to deliver such a spell. Using this ability is a swift action, but it lasts only until the end of the nimbused oracle's turn.

Sharing Nimbus (Su) The nimbused oracle shares her more of her power with her allies. She can cast spells with a range of personal with a range of touch, but can only affect willing targets. Using this nimbus is a swift action, but it lasts only until the end of the nimbused oracle's current turn. The effects of spells used like this lasts for their normal duration.

Shielding Nimbus (Su) The nimbused oracle protects an ally. The ally gains a +2 bonus on saving throws and temporary hit points equal to the nimbused oracle's class level.

Revelations

A nimbused oracle can select revelations from either of her mysteries. She gains a revelation at level 1, level 2, level 3, and every 2 levels after level 3 for a total of 10 revelations at level 17.

Final Revelations

A nimbused oracle gains the final revelation of one of her mysteries of her choice at level 19, and the final revelation of her other mystery at level 20.

Option: Close Nimbus

Some nimbused oracles have a more intimate nimbus, with a range of only 5 ft. Such an oracle gains an additional nimbus at level 2 and 8.
