Northern Disputed Territories

The Atlantic Coalition refuses to acknowledge any non-home-nation area claims in North America. This means they contest the Commonwealth's claim to the Canadian wastelands, and Denmark's claim to Greenland.

Mining and research expeditions move into these territories without seeking permission, and their military intervenes to protect these interests.

If either Denmark or the Commonwealth valued these areas, this could be a point of contention. Right now, it is only a source of endless diplomatic disputes.

The Maritime Provinces’ President, Francis Kirby, has proposed a merger with Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, a proposition still under consideration. This makes these areas contested as well. It is uncertain if this will accepted after the Maritime Provinces' merger with the Atlantic Coalition.
