You can communicate without speech with any creature you know about that is within your Magic x5 meters.
This spellware can be upgraded in various ways, each at the cost of an additional schtick pick.
- Ranged It can be made a normal ranged effect, removing the normal range limitation. The maximum range becomes Magic x20 meters.
- ESP It can allow you to detect unknown creatures in an diameter equal to your Magic, as long as you make a Magic roll against their Willpower. Each attempt costs a Magic point. If you also have range, the area does not increase, but you can chose to place the area at range.
- Surface Thoughts It can be used to interrogate, picking up the answer to one question from a known mind, using the same mechanism as detection, above.
- Suggestion It can be used to implant suggestions, per the Influence sorcery schtick. Use your Magic as the acting value, but the Magic Point that you spend on this effect grants you an extra die to roll, as if you had spent a Fortune point.
This spellware is unconventional, and often considered to be influenced by the Dark Zone. ISPD uses it a lot.
