This gives you a range and sensitivity of hearing greater than normal. Hearing becomes a targeting sense for you - as long as you can hear it, and you target remains within Magic meters of you, there are no blindness or concealment modifiers. Ypou can also use Magic points as if they were Fortune points on Perception rolls involving hearing.
