Humans are a special case. They are not a fantasy race per se. But in genres where fantasy races exist, humans tend to be the most versatile of all races, able to learn the powers of others.
Humans do not have a set of Races schticks to choose from. Instead, they can adapt, learning the racial schticks of others by living among them. To learn a racial schtick, the human must spend some time in close and friendly contact with the race in question. He can then learn the schtick, at a higher Experience point cost.
For all their versatility, humans are not very accepting of strangeness. Some racial schticks, like Legs, involve physiological changes. These are rare for humans to take, and often makes the possessor an outcast.
