Items / Melee / Power Fist

A large robotic fist, worn like an oversize lower arm and hand guard and used as a melee weapon. The hand can still be used normally with the Power Fist fitted.

A Power Fist uses hydralic rams mounted in the fingers of the oversize mechanical hand to cause a crushing grip that can tear steel like paper.

It is commonly used with power armor units on shipboard assault missions.

Bash

The weapon is especially suited to destroying structures, like doors, walls and such. It doues double damage against structures, but when you use this ability you cannot do anything, such as an ActiveDefense or Riposte, until your next shot comes up.

Bash supercedes, and does not combine with, any other damage-enhancing ability including Precision.

Beak

The weapon has a very narrow striking point, or is otherwise very good at penetrating armor. Add +3 points of damage against targets with four or more points of armor, and against objects.

If you use another technique or maneuver that ignores armor or that does extra damage against objects, such as Bash, this bonus is lost.

Clinch

Once you get under an opponent's guard, your small and handy weapon can wreak great havoc.

Getting into a clinch is a specific maneouver, and requires a successful MartialArts attack, which causes no damage.

Once you have gotten into Clinch with an opponent, you receive a +3 bonus on your MartialArts against that opponent until one of the following happens;

If both fighters use weapons with this ability, it effectively cancels itself out.

Entangle

You can make an attack that does no damage, but entangles your target, so that he loses one shot from his current shot for each point of Outcome that you score. If you score an Outcome matching the target's Agility, he must be cut loose (any attack against a Dodge equal to your MartialArts will do) before he can do anything but dodge or try to cut himself loose.

You can renew you attack on the entangled victim, an if you get to attack him before his next action, you do so with a +3 bonus to Martial Arts.

If you let go of the weapon or use it for anything besides entangling this target, the effect ends.

Precision

You can strike several times in quick succession or with great precision.

If you inflict any Wound Points with this weapon, add an additional three wound points of the same type.
