A mixture of naphta and violative chemicals, liquid star is an early form of incendiary. It may or may not be the same thing as greek fire.
When this oil is exposed to air, it bursts into flame, causing damage 8 to any creature close by. It will float on the surface of water and continue to burn. It is best doused by sand or wet fabric.
If hurled, a flask of Liquid Star will cause an explosion. Any creature within 3 meters of the point of impact may be affected as in an Area Attack.
If you are damaged by a fire attack while carrying Liquid Star, a fumbled Fortune roll will cause the Liquid Star to explode.
You can use a Tufenk to create a fireball of liquid star, while great flame-projectors can be built for use in sieges and naval warfare.
