This is the sctick to be and stay prepared.
Inspired by a shtick by the same name by David Blewer. That was in turn inspired by the name of a a schtick that would have appeared on Golden Comeback, the Dragon sourcebook, Daedalus edition.
Dramatically cock or otherwise work the action of a gun with a loud 'click'. This schtick works with any gun that makes a sufficient 'click' or 'ka-chak' sound, and takes a three-shot action to do properly. You can use this schtick just as the action is about to unfold, and it will certainly alert the opposition. Then again, moving out of cover with that distinctive ka-chak sound can be a great boon to Intimidation.
You can now fire the gun once as a free action, and do so at any time. Thus, you kind of "save up" shots for later use. This is great for that prepared face down or mad dash from cover.
You are a pro and would never carry a gun around in the cocked position; you must specifically mention that you cock your gun each time, either in action or just before the action starts. If you holster your weapon, the bonus is lost.
