Willow Step

Your Dodge Value increases by 2 for the duration of the shot. This counts as an Active Defense, and is not cumulative with other defensive actions. The shot cost of a Willow Step cannot be modified; schticks that increase the cost of an Active Defense have no effect on Willow Step.

Walk of a Thousand Steps

You stand on tiptoe, ready for anything. Add X (the amount of Fu points you elect to spend) to the Action Value of your Martial Arts rating whenever you make an Active Defense using Dodge.

This is a combat stance, and is activated at the start of a Sequence, just after initiative is rolled. You can enter a stance as an action during a Sequence, but you can only do so when your shot is coming up. Stances stay in effect for one Sequence. Several stances can be combined. You can enter a stance in response to someone else's stance, so it may take a few moments for everyone to decide upon stances. You should describe how you dramatically shift into your stance, especially if you combine several stances.

King on the Water

Fu: 3 Shot: 1

If your Charisma rating is greater than your opponent's, the attack he makes against you automatically fails. Using King on the Water is an Active Defense; declare it when you're targeted for attack but before the check is made.
