Fu / Paths / Mystic Shell

This is a path for those who are strong in spirit.

This is one of the successor paths to the original Path of the Storm Turtle. Internal dissent has split that path up into four separate paths; ShelteringStorm, VengefulClaw, WillowKing and MysticShell.

Armored In Life

Fu: 1, Shot: 0

This is a combat stance, and is activated at the start of a Sequence, just after initiative is rolled. You can enter a stance as an action during a Sequence, but you can only do so when your shot is coming up. Stances stay in effect for one Sequence. Several stances can be combined. You can enter a stance in response to someone else's stance, so it may take a few moments for everyone to decide upon stances. You should describe how you dramatically shift into your stance, especially if you combine several stances.

Until the end or the Sequence, substitute your Fu for your Toughness.

Gift of the Storm

Fu: 1 Shot: 0

As you use a Fu power other than Gift of the Storm, you may designate another character as the beneficiary (not the target) of its effect. Treat that character as "you" in the Fu power's description. That other character must be a willing participant, and must be within (3 meters x your Fu) of you.

Fortress of Righteousness

Fu: X Shot: 0

A Fu power used to attack you fails; the attack has no effect. X is the Fu cost of the negated power.

Challenge of the Turtle

Fu: X Shot: 3

Everyone within MartialArts meters of you, friend and for alike, is forced into a mental struggle and must immediately spend X Fu points.
