Neural cutouts allow the body to function at peak efficiency despite injuries. It negates any Impairment you suffer due to injury or pain. You cannot be physically tortured.
The Pain Editor cannot prevent impairment from spiritual pain, such as that caused by Sorcery, Creatures or Arcanotech. Damage from these sources that cause normal WoundPoints cause normal pain, that can be negated through this schtick. But effects using mystic means to cause Impairment directly cannot be negated by the pain editor. Nor will it negate hallucinations or other distractions not related to pain.
