Homers are perhaps the most common Badware. These are bugs which are installed into the body. They broadcast homing signals up to 5 kilometers which can be picked up with a receiver with the proper encoding. In a networked environment, this means you can be kept trackof almost anywhere. All homers use methods like burst transmissions or reflective emission to reduce their profile, so they are very hard to detect (Fix-It 20).
In the Cyber Papacy, signals from Homers are fed directly into the GodNet where the movements and locations of the bugged characters are correlated and stored. In other worlds, it generally takes some more trouble to follow the Homer, but it is still way to easy for comfort.
