Creatures summoned using Invocation or its equivalents can be created with a variant of the Leadership rules. Such creatures should be designed together with the GM.
Each creature starts with 20 points to divide between the primary attributes and a rating in the Powers skill. For each point of Powers, the creature gets one improvement pick, that can be spent in one of the following ways
- Improve a primary attribute one point. One secondary attribute can be increased by reducing the others two points (total).
- Get an extra skill. The first extra skill has a value equal to the Powers skill, and each succeeding skill is one point lower than the preceding skill. You can restart the progression for one additional pick.
- One schtick (Sorcery schticks cost double, Items and Fu schticks cost half)
Note that almost all creatures should have several Limitations appropriate to their type. This is where the GM's judgement comes in most heavily; on one hand, limtiations make the creatures more interesting - on the other it makes them more powerful at no additional cost.
Of course, the GM is also free to create more powerful creatures that are more difficult to find magica links to, but whose Powers scores are nos as high as their general power level would indicate. These rules merely provide a baseline.
