This large rifle emits a beam of arcanowave energy which temporarily scrambles the portion of the victim's DNA that allows for the normal flow of chi energy. A character hit by it is affected for a number of sequences equal to the Outcome of the attack. While affected, the victim takes 5 Wound Points for each Magic or Fortune point spent and one Wound Point for each Fu point he spends. These Wound Points are not reduced by Toughness. For every 5 Wound Points of Helix Rethreader damage a character suffers, he also suffers 1 point of Impairment until the end of the fight.
