Your arcanowave has caused you some severe physical handicap. You might have lost one of your senses (sight, hearing, smell/taste or touch/muscle memory), you might be confined to a wheelchair or hyper-sensitive to some substance or condition.
Whatever your infirmity, it will penalize you by five points whenever it is active; your attributes and/or skills affected by the handicap will be reduced by five whenever the handicap is relevant.
You can use other powers to compensate for this infirmity. For example, being lame is no major problem if you can fly. You can even gain additional powers from doing so; such is the temptations of arcanowave.
This is often combined with a Deformity. You can easily have several handicaps.
