Albertus was born and raised in Nuln and apprenticed as an alchemist at an early age. He is a notoriously lawful perosn, very strict and disciplined. Sometimes he gets pangs of guilt because he is not working more for the betterment of the empire, but he rarely acts on these mood swings.
The alchemists guild sent him to serve in the artillery detail of the ArmyOfNuln, and in that capacity he met the other adventurers.
Due to his exposure to WyrdStone, he has become a mutant, and had to remove his right hand when an eye grew out of the palm. He now wears a clockwork prosthetic hand.
He also trained as a ranger in order to learn to use the full powers of the BlueMetalSet.
