Ahriman is bored and goes for a walk. He notices an odd laxness in the magic defences of the 40th House and as a prank discharges a minor spell to alert the fools to the fact. Much to his surprise the entire macial field unravels! Embarrased and confused he heads home in a hurry.
Zhe'raen is equally bored and goes out on town along with Morghedil and gets into a bunch of fun and even challenging fights with other Weaponsmasters (Liaram and Tsankao actually has him hard pushed to win!).
GhulDril trains JhulTana and LuaXena is trained by Zarathustriel. Neither of the younger sisters enjoy the training particularly much but both are determined to improve their skills.ยด
MatronNemalzhi comes up with a plan to have Zhe'raen sent as Patron to HouseNahena. A simple swap of Weaponsmasters. She gets Morghedil for herself and Zhe'raens libido will be put to good use supplying Matron Zha'nel with sons and daughters. Zhe'raen fears for his freedom and desperatly calls upon Ahriman and GhulDril to back his claims that he is needed at home to ensure the safety of HouseNemalzhi. To no avail, as it turns out. Both Ahriman and GhulDril are confident that they can hold off even a substantial enemy force for quite some time. Zhe'raen flees to one of his secret hideouts to drink and forget that his carefree life as is most likely under threat.
After a while Ahriman shows up asking Zhe'raen out to get drunk with the bored Wizard. And so they do. Drunkand unhappy he heads home to ponder his situation and even the fact that some sort of intrigue in HouseHasdrubel seems to promise a refreshing turmoil can cheer Zhe'raen up.
His mood does not improve the day after when Ghuldril wakes Zhe'raen up with the cheerful shouting of battlecries in the training field. The unsuspecting GhulDril is rewarded with first one and then another heavy vase to the head, thrown by his irate commander.
GhulDril is carried off with a concussion and thus ends the session.
