Background
Tuft grew up as Gabrielle Greengrass, first and so far only child of Claude and Anielle Greengrass, in the mixed-racial working-class area King's Road. Her father is a struggling and so far unrecognízed artist, who she adores, totally convinced that he is a misunderstood genius. As his art tends to cost much more to produce than it ever brings in, Tuft's parents are mainly supported by her mother's work as a nightclub hostess/waitress.
At an early age, Tuft found a knack for fading away and hiding, especially among the old industrial buildings that were everywhere in her neighbourhood. That talent was later evolved into a money-making business, supporting her after she grew up and moved out.
After the constant lack of money during her young years, Tuft now makes sure to savour the luxuries that her income enables her to get: fine wines, fancy clothes, the occasional trip to an exclusive spa. That, together with the reoccuring need for "emergency money" for her parents, still makes money a short-lasting commodity, and thus Tuft busy in her chosen career.
