Although they may be generations removed from their draconic ancestors, the dragonblooded manifest particular traits and abilities that reveal their draconic bloodline. They all have an unusually proud bearing, and usually possess one or more exotic features: tiny horns/spines, scaly skin, claw like fingernails, or serpentine eyes. Some dragonblooded have no such "deformities", as recessive or intermittent genes may preclude such traits. Others look almost entirely draconic, with lizard like facial features, scaled skin, tail, back spines and so on.
The exact nature of one's dragon ancestry is not always clear. Aside from genetic markers in their DNA, many dragonblooded do not possess traits or abilities specific to one particular type of dragon. The dragonblooded descendent of a red dragon is no more predisposed towards evil than the dragonblooded descendant of a silver dragon. However, half-dragons that do display the traits of any particular breed of dragon are expected to have a pure bloodline, and manifest only that one, particular trait. Showing traits inappropriate to your draconic subtype is not appreciated - though it is not loathed either. What is loathed, however, is showing non-draconic traits. True dragons have been known to kill descendants who showed such traits as tentacles or regeneration, and such traits reduce your standing greatly - causing you to be outcast from polite society. Displaying an inappropriate flaw is even more damning.
Rules
Half Dragons are supernatural creatures, and their status increases as they acquire more supernatural creature traits - as long as these traits are appropriate for dragons. They are also half of some other race, so they follow the general rules and guidelines of that race as well - including all special rules and abilities.
The base profile of a half dragon is the same as that of their other parent race, with the following modifications;
Body +2, Chi +2, Mind +2, Ref +0
Recommended Creature Powers
