The philosophy and training of the monk can be a great help to the cursed or disabled, allowing them to live a full life despite their handicap. Some of these people manage to overcome their hindrances and reach their full potential as monks, even if they still carry their onus with them.

The suffering monk has all the monks class features, except as follows.

Suffering Monk's Doom

A suffering monk has a doomed warrior's doom. All references to oracle or doom warrior levels instead apply to suffering monk levels. All abilities of the curse based on Charisma are based on Wisdom for the suffering monk. This replaces the bonus feat gained at level 10 and the second style strike per round gained at level 15.
