To gain information this way you make an opposed Spot check against the target or against the highest Spot in the area. You gain valuable information based on the outcome of this roll; if the outcome matches the target's Mind you gain clear and important insights into the target's activities. On a failed roll, you learn trivia or misleading information; if the negative Outcome matches your Mind the target notices your spying and can actively give you false information. This roll is heavily modified by circumstances and demands you spend time observing. Maintaining observation is considered a stance.
