The rage idol is a powerful performer and and a practitioner of way of life martial arts.

Class Information

This is a martial arts archetype, a skald with ferocious martial arts.

Class: Skald.

Starting Wealth: 1d6 x 10 gp (average 35 gp.) In addition, each character begins play with an outfit worth 10 gp or less.

Hit Die: d8.

Class Abilities

The rage idol has all the class abilities of the skald, except as noted below.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

The rage idol is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with shields (excluding tower shields) but not with any armor. When wearing armor, the rage idol cannot use his way of life armor bonus or fast movement abilities.

Way of Life Armor Bonus (Ex)

When unarmored and unencumbered, the rage idol adds his Charisma bonus (if positive) as a dodge modifier to armor class and CMD. He loses this bonus when he wears any armor, when he carries a medium or heavy load, or when he is denied his Dexterity bonus to armor class. The rage idol can use his way of life armor bonus with a shield. This replaces damage reduction.
