A planar shaman has a tie to another plane, either outer or inner. Some planar shamen are tied to a specific plane, others see themselves as guardians of the guardians of planar barriers.

Class Abilities

The planar shaman man has all normal shaman class abilities, except as noted.

Allied Monster Spirits

A planar shaman always gains summon monster as known spells as they advance in level, never summon nature's ally. This is a modification to summon allied spirits.

Spirit Guide

The planar shaman's spirit guide is a spirit appropriate to her chosen plane. It's goals and ideals are foreign to the material plane. It otherwise functions as a normal spirit guide.

Banish (Sp)

At 7th level you can attempt to use banish once per day at level seven, plus one time per day for every 4 additional shaman levels. This has a save DC of 10 + half the planar shaman’s level + the planar shaman’s Charisma modifier. At 11th level, a banished creature cannot enter the plane you banished it from without your (or one of your descendent's) permission or for a thousand years and a day. This replaces the seal spirit (7th level) and banish spirit (11th level) abilities.
