Heroic Action Role-Play

This is a Method for using Powers in Action. Methods are a part of Traditions and define how Powers are used in each campaign.

Orthodoxy

Your powers require that you abstain from other powers linked to other Origins or even in the more severe variant, other [[Power_Rules_(Action)#Tradition|Traditions]. Orthodoxy is common in worlds with Origin Divides.

Limitations

Trigger Action

If you use or benefit from a power forbidden to you, you suffer from Power Loss for the rest of the scene. The prohibition against use includes Gizmos and all sorts of other Items linked to prohibited origins. If you are an unwilling target of a beneficial power, you can take a Trigger Action to negate the effect. The GM decides which powers are beneficial, but any power that only affects friends or allies is considered beneficial for this purpose. You can use powers on creatures who have powers prohibited to you, usually accompanied by a sermon.

Focus Condition

Focus

When you use aggressive powers against someone who has powers prohibited to you, you can focus.
