Bronze Bell Stance

Stance

Create a protective sphere of energy around you. Gain an Armor bonus of +5 against melee attacks only. Does not combine with any other armor.

Extended Strike

Basic Action

Attack an opponent from a distance. The range of your strike in meters is equal to your Mind. Damage is normal for the type of attack. If your attack hits, you have managed to keep that opponent at bay for some time. Because your opponent now has a hard time reaching through your guard to strike back at you, your passive Dodge against him is increased by +3 until he hits you or until the end of the round, whichever comes first. This bonus does not stack with any other Dodge bonuses.

Force Block

Trigger Action (Defense)

You create a shield of force to block attacks. For this shot and until you take your next action of any type (including a trigger action), you gain a Dodge bonus of +3.

Force Deflect

Trigger Action (Defense)

Focus your power defensively, deflecting blows without any physical contact. Use this when you are about to be damaged by an attack, after the hit is determined. Substitute your Melee for your Toughness to soak damage.

Force Push

Basic Action

Push an opponent by making a Melee attack that does Body +4 Impact damage. You push the target one meter per wound point inflicted. If the target is thrown, he also loses a shot regaining his balance.

Force Strike

Inherent

You can make Normal Melee Attacks that do normal weapon damage, but of an unusual type. Used unarmed, this does Body +4. Force Strike does Impact damage.

Forcewield

Stance

You create one or more melee weapons in your hand(s). These function exactly as normal weapons of the type you choose to create, but are constructs made of ephemeral materials and not of any particular material a creature might be vulnerable or resistant to. They disappear at the end of any round when it is not in your hand. You must be familiar with a weapon to create it this way.

This power can create any melee weapon of Clockwork or lower complexity.

No-Strike

Trigger Action

You may do damage to an opponent with the slightest of movements, wounding them even as you defend yourself from their attack. Use this power after an opponent has unsuccessfully attacked you in melee. He immediately takes damage as if you had struck him, apply his negative outcome as positive outcome on your attack. Damage is your Mind rating.

Example: Chou, with a Melee of 15, is fighting Lin, with a Dodge of 15. Chou attacks and ends up with an Action Result of 13, a miss. Chou decides to use No-Strike. Chou takes damage equal to Lin's Mind +2, 2 being the difference between Chou's Action Result of 13 and the difficulty, which is 15.
