Grippli] live in rivers, marshes, and ponds in Nippon and Nippon territories. They are related to [kappa and shibaten and generally get along well with them. Grippli are much more reclusive that shibaten and tend to live on cliffs, deep in swamps, or in other areas few other humanoids would want to live.

Grippli in Nippon speak Nipponese and Grippli, and have Draconic, Goblin, Sylvan, and Tengu as bonus languages.
