Unofficial rules compendium

A brute is not a dexterous rogue but a strong one. Often considered dumb sidekicks, a brute can be just as sharp as any other rogue but often plays up the stupid role to catch foes blind-sided.

Unchained Brute

This class incorporates changes to the rogue from Pathfinder Unchained.

Class Features

The brute has all the rogue's class features, except as follows:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

The brute is proficient with all simple weapons, the greatclub, hand crossbow, longsword, machete, ogre hook, planson, and sap, but not with any armor or shields.

Bonus Feats

At first level the brute gains Power Attack as a bonus feat if he fulfils the prerequisites of the feat. At level 3, 11, and 19 the brute gains a combat feat he fulfils the prerequistes for as a bonus feat. This replaces finesse training.

Summary of Changed Class Abilities

These abilities of the original class are lost or modified in this archetype:

  • Weapon Proficiency
  • Finesse training (All)
