Some bards have an occult rather than arcane origin. Brought up in a mystical tradition where music, recitation, and dance are central elements, power is a natural extension of the bhajan's untity with the universe.

Class Information

This is a bard archetype that uses occut magic.

Alignment: Any. Unlike bards, bhajans are often part of a sect or occult tradition and can be of lawful alignment.

Hit Die: d8.

Class Features

The bhajan has all the standard bard class features, except as noted below.

Spellcasting

A bhajan casts occult spells, which are drawn from the bard spell list. As an occult spellcaster, the bhajan's ability to cast spells in armor is unrestricted. Add and delete the following spells from the divine summoner's spell list:

5	Break enchantment, mass cure light wounds, mass inflict light wounds, word of recall	Geniekind, Baleful polymorph, mage’s faithful hound, overland flight, planar binding (lesser).
6	Heal, greater planar ally, mass cure moderate wounds, mass inflict moderate wounds	Planar binding, teleport (greater), sequester, wall of iron.
