Bhajans are bards who have an occult rather than arcane origin. Brought up in a mystical tradition where music, recitation, and dance are central elements, the bhajan's power is a natural extension of being in tune with the universe.

Class Information

This is a bard archetype that uses psychic magic.

Alignment: Any. Unlike bards, bhajans are often part of a sect or occult tradition and can be of lawful alignment.

Starting Money: 3d6 × 10 gp (average 105 gp)

Hit Die: d8.

Class Features

The bhajan has all the standard bard class features, except as noted below.

Spellcasting

A bhajan casts occult spells, which are drawn from the bard spell list. As an occult spellcaster, the bhajan's ability to cast spells in armor is unrestricted. Unlike a normal bard, bhajan spells don't have a verbal or somatic component.
