This is the pirate articles characters set up for their crew in the Skull & Shackles campaign.

The Articles

I. Every man shall obey civil command; the Captain shall have two full shares; the Quartermaster shall have one share and a half; other Officers shall have one share and quarter of all prizes.

II. Every man shall have an equal vote in affairs of moment. He shall have an equal title to the fresh provisions or strong liquors at any time seized, and shall use them at pleasure unless a scarcity may make it necessary for the common good that a retrenchment may be voted.

III. He that shall offer to run away, or keep any secret from the Company, or strike an Officer, shall suffer death.

IV. He that shall be found guilty of defrauding the Company to the value of even one gold piece in plate, jewels or money, shall run the gauntlet.

V. He that shall be found guilty of cowardice in the time of engagements, shall suffer what punishment the Captain and the Company shall think fit.

VI. He that shall not keep his arms clean, fit for an engagement, or neglect his business, shall be cut off from his share, and suffer such other punishment as the Captain and the Company shall think fit.

VII. He that shall be guilty of drunkenness in time of engagement shall suffer what punishment the Captain and the Company shall think fit.

VIII. He that shall have the misfortune to lose a limb in time of engagement, shall have the sum of six hundred pieces of gold, and remain aboard as long as he shall think fit.
